A friend of Mutilated News since way back in the late 1980's, hanging out in Tandem Cinema/Cartimar Recto, going to countless HC/Punk gigs, exchanging H.C. Punk tapes, records, fanzines (was the man behind defunct 1980's Fanzine "Devastated").
Was very active in the Philippine H.C. Punk scene, helping touring foreign bands like All You Can Eat, What Happen's Next, Code 13 etc. Being involved in different bands (Psychotic Change, Bulldozed & Isvarah to name a few) from the late 80's till his demise this year 2015.
But as most of the people who grew up with Mot Matibag in the Local HC/Punk scene, they have their personal demons to contend with and usual it has taken its toll both physically & financially.
As of last year MotMot resigned from work due to his failing health and unfortunately succumbed to a massive heart attack last January 21, 2015 while watching TV in their house.
Friends and relatives gathered together to help in the Wake & burial of our departed friend but since he left a wife & 2 kids, a benefit show is scheduled this Sunday Feb. 8, 2015 to financially helped his bereaved family.
